We walked in with a group of 9 and they did a phenomenal job taking care of us. All of the food came out hot and delicious!

I'm surprised by the low reviews I read. We've eaten there several times since the new menu was started. We've had nothing but great food and service. They offer a variety of proteins for different prices, helping to control your dinner price. Fair enough. As for the 20% gratuity, I'm seeing that a lot and it's not out of line if it's good. I understand people liking more control in what they tip. However, keep in mind that the waitress doesn't have control of everything so don't take it all out on them by not tipping. One last thought. People tend to think of eating Chinese (and Mexican) dinner for $6-8 and having enough to take home for another meal. You can't get a fast food burger for $10 so why shouldn't you pay a little more for a real dinner? I will continue to support this MUA. I like what they're doing.

Every time my family comes here we always have a great experience! The food tastes amazing and everything is always quick and served hot. The workers are super nice, friendly, and accommodating. I would give this place 10 stars if I could and can’t wait to come back!!

The hardest thing to swallow was the price. I hate to lead - or even include in a review - yet more than $36 for pad Thai (1 order) and an order of spring rolls warrants acknowledging. Living in the area, I’m fully aware of the increase in prices to eat out; however, these rates are still very attention grabbing. While I’ve always really liked this little place (and owners new and old), and have been patronizing for several years, the rates this year just were stunning, causing me to put the brakes on my patronage. More on principle than ability to fund a meal. While what I paid feels exorbitant, in fairness it was very good. Additionally, I was impressed with both the size of the shrimp used by the restaurant, and that there were upwards of 8-10 in my meal. While kindness and friendliness always accompanies service, I just felt hard pressed to give any more in the form of tip for my carry out. And I hate that. Ugh. If only the increase in rates were a bit more comparable to other local eateries. I’ll continue to get meals as the food and service is very good, just not at the same rate as in years past. Ha! Double entendré not intended!

Always thankful to have a year round local restaurant and MAU Asian Cuisine is the current one in a location that has served very good Thai food to our community and our guests for decades. I enjoy the lunch portions and always get takeout since the start of the isolation economy in 2020. The equality is very good and consistent, the service is also very good and consistent. Note that the online orders were not being accepted and after I used it to make my selections, I called my order in using the information I entered, so the process went very smoothly.

We ordered takeout and everything was amazing! One of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. Worth every penny on a cold rainy night. We also got the spicy Thai fried rice with beef and medium level had the perfect amount of kick.

My husband and I just moved to Suttons Bay and decided to try this restaurant for Carrie out. We both ordered our favorite Chinese dish. The food was delicious! It is pricey but I feel it is far more upscale than any of the local restaurants down in Traverse City. My husband commented on how clean and pretty the restaurant was when he went to pick up our order. Everything was packed beautifully and we were super happy with our meal! We will definitely be returning.

Despite what others might say about the price, this is by far the best Thai Spicy Fried Rice I've had. Went here with a large group and we were all equally impressed with how good this place is. The service is great, friendly staff, and excellent food. We were perfectly happy with 20% gratuity for a large group, which is a standard practice in most places. The Thai Curry Noodles were also a hit. Can't recommend his place more.
